The Party flag flies high, and our original aspiration shines brightly! To deeply integrate Party building with production and operations, and to effectively implement the company’s strategy for cost reduction and efficiency improvement, on October 29, the Logistics Operations Department Party Branch and the Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance Party Branch jointly held a unique and inspiring Party Day event at the steel warehouse. Together, they rallied their strengths to sound the charge in the critical battle to tackle steel costs.
At the event site, all party members of the branch revisited their入党誓词 (oath of joining the Communist Party) before the vibrant red Party flag. In the cutting workshop, colleagues from the Procurement Department gained a firsthand understanding of the precision involved in nesting and the challenges posed by leftover materials. Meanwhile, team members from the Finance Department personally handled steel materials, gaining a deeper appreciation for the significant value embedded in the seemingly simple "material utilization rate." Meanwhile, colleagues from the Logistics Operations Department listened intently as they learned about price fluctuations from the market front end and comprehensive cost analyses from the finance side. Together, participants engaged in lively and insightful discussions centered around key topics such as "measuring and recording material specifications," "establishing accounting systems for leftover materials," and "designing joint incentive mechanisms." To wrap up the day, everyone joined forces in the finished goods warehouse to voluntarily pack boxes using pearl cotton padding.
During this joint Party-themed activity, participants stepped out of the traditional conference room and brought the classroom directly to the production floor. By focusing on "total cost," "capital efficiency," and "collaborative cost reduction," they jointly calculated the "profitability accounts" and collaboratively explored ways to "create value," thereby achieving a deep integration of the Party-building network with the production, supply, and value chains.
