The Company Holds the “May Fourth” Commendation Conference

On April 29, in the lead-up to the May Fourth Youth Day, the company held an awards ceremony themed “Unite Hearts and Pool Strength to Shoulder Our Mission, Enhance Quality and Achieve New Breakthroughs, and Contribute the Vital Energy of Youth to the Company’s 15th Five-Year Development.” Zeng Ran, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, while Wang Yongping, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, presided over the event.
Zeng Ran, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the company, extended festive greetings to all young Communist Youth League members and congratulated the outstanding individuals who were commended. In light of the current market competition landscape and the company’s development status, and with the question “What kind of young people does corporate development need?” as the central theme, he put forward four earnest expectations and clear requirements for all young employees:
First, we must hone solid competencies and meet industry transformation head-on with genuine talent and practical expertise. Young employees should focus on their core responsibilities and primary tasks, continuously enhancing their technical expertise, process innovation capabilities, digital application skills, and on-site problem-solving abilities. They should strive to develop into versatile professionals who are technically proficient, operationally skilled, innovative, and capable of tackling tough challenges, thereby laying a solid professional foundation for the company’s high-quality development.
Second, we must dare to innovate and create, striving to be pioneers in driving transformation and upgrading. Grounded in core initiatives such as product R&D, quality enhancement, and cost reduction with efficiency gains, we embrace a spirit of bold vision and decisive action—daring to think, dare to act, dare to break with the past and build anew, and dare to explore and experiment. We strive to transcend conventional thinking, confront irrational issues head-on, and maintain unwavering focus on on-time delivery, quality control, and cost optimization, aiming to be pioneers and front-line leaders in the company’s innovative development.
Third, we must cultivate a strong sense of responsibility and proactive action, thereby demonstrating the value of youth in precision manufacturing. The front lines at the grassroots level represent the ideal platform for young people’s growth. All young workers should proactively step out of their comfort zones, wholeheartedly engage in production and business operations, bravely take on urgent, difficult, and high-risk tasks, uphold the craftsman spirit of striving for excellence, hone versatile skills that enable them to operate multiple machines or perform multiple roles, and ensure that every product is crafted with precision, attention to detail, and uncompromising quality—thereby turning their youthful aspirations into reality through dedicated, hands-on work.
Fourth, we must uphold integrity and moral uprightness, and get the “first button” of our lives fastened properly. Young employees must be clear about right and wrong, hold themselves to high standards, and always maintain a deep respect for systems, quality, and customers. They should steadfastly uphold professional ethical boundaries, cultivate exemplary work habits, and let integrity serve as the foundation for their career development. By demonstrating unwavering moral character, they can earn the trust of colleagues, the recognition of clients, and the confidence of the organization.
Zeng Ran, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman, presented the flag to the newly established Youth Commando Team, while Wang Yongping, Member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, presented the flag to the Youth Volunteer Service Team. The team members then took an oath on the spot.
During the meeting, attendees watched a video on the work of the Communist Youth League titled “Answering the Call of the Times in the Name of Youth,” and recognized and rewarded “Outstanding Communist Youth League Members,” “Outstanding Youth League Cadres,” “Young Skilled Professionals,” and “Outstanding Young Volunteers.” Representatives from outstanding youth task forces also shared their experiences and best practices.
Youth thrives in a golden age, and now is the time to strive with all our might. This recognition conference has not only highlighted exemplary role models and championed the positive energy of youth, but also strengthened consensus among young employees and clarified the direction for their future endeavors. As we embark on the critical inaugural phase of the company’s 15th Five-Year Plan, all League members and young employees will embrace a spirit of hard work and dedication, fulfilling our responsibilities through practical action, upholding the HanGong standard with meticulous craftsmanship, and harnessing the power of youth to drive the company’s high-quality development.
